Her shawl

the shawl was so quick and simple.  I think some of the 16"dolls need some of these too.

IT IS FINALLY CHRISTMAS AT GEPETTA'S

I GOT A TREE!
I guess I didn't realize how great an effect a christmas tree can have on a person
I found a 4 foot tree at Michaels today for $19.99 and I brought it home and
ta da....... it is finally really christmas at my house!
I am so excited I can hardly stand it.!!!!!!
I have no ornaments but I do have loads of presents from all my family that love me dearly!
I am surrounded by My Heavenly Father's Blessings.
Now......
The next thing I want to share......
The new 8" doll has mohair, hair.  We have success.  It actually looks like hair and not yarn
I believe this is the appearance we want for all future dolls.
I am going to crochet a green shawl for her and hem her skirt and then she will be complete.
I Love you all and am so Happy I carry the Nyberg name!
I love you Linda
I love you Ruth
I love you Alyce
I love you Mike
I love you MOM
I love you DAD
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

This & that

Oh boy is he cute!   So fun.   Love him Mom!    Alyce
(And look at you - posting photos on the blog.   Woo Hoo,  You're a blogger now!)
Oh MOM how many yo yos did this little guy take.  and for heavens sake are you fingers sore to the bone?   He is really cute.  YOur great grand is gonna love him!
and the angels are really cute theere.  Do they move and float around in the air movement ?
Now we know where we all got our desire to create!

New knitted jumper

This is the new jumper that I knitted. It doesn't look so good without a blouse, hat and shoes. Think I have enough yarn left for a hat and maybe shoes. When I get those done, I will send it on to Ruth for the finishing touches and have her work her magic.
Alyce I hope you are feeling better and everything is OK with Taylor and the new baby.
Congratulations to Grandma Ruth. 3 grandbabies in one month. It's a record.
Love ya'll. Linda
Linda, this is soooooooooooooo  waldorf style.   way to go grandma!  I cant wait to see it with a cute little blouse and hat with a fabric flower on it.  Ruth mentioned an embroidered flower on the hem.  very cute. how long did it take?

I love this jumper. I think some leggins would be cute with this and mary jane shoes and turtle neck. I'll see what I can do. Very Cute! Ruth

Very very cute!   I love the jumper.   Yes Linda, we are all doing well.  I finished my prednisone, was still sick.  Third day now on nasal and inhaler steroid and I think today I am beginning to get over it.  Yay!
Snow day today about a foot of snow.  It's beautiful.   I'm almost done with Halle and Reeses quilt tops.
I've been really busy making a king size quilt for Ali.   I took photos of her with all of us from past years and transfered them to fabric then pieced them into a quilt top.   It's at the quilters today and will be done by Christmas.   Last friday Taylor was dialated to a 4 but zero effaced and Abbe was still high.
Steve and Taylor say she isn't allowed to come out until after the 25th.   We'll see about that!
Ken and the Kids, Kenny, Karen and Sami's friend are all headed to Las Vegas today for a football game (as long as the roads are clear).   They are coming back thursday night.    Then, - Christmas EVE!
Love to all of you,   hope all is well with everyone.   I sure miss you!   Alyce

White Coat

Each doll I have now has a sweater or coat. Here is the last one. Linda I'll send you money today for the yellow and blue sweaters. Really finishes the dolls. Thanks so much!

This dancing dress is exactly the same color and style as Jordynn's first come home from the hospital after she could walk.

the nightgown oh this doll is my favorite!

My doll stand is not heavy enough to keep the doll from falling over.

she kept landing on her face during the shoot!

Thank you Linda I love these clothes. Jordynn will be a very happy girl on christmas morning.

I love the tutu. the gold color seems to set off the color of her hair

Can you text in your feedback on the dolls and the sites for all of us to see?
We soooooooooo need your input on this adventure.
You have MUCH experience that none of us have and we can use your feedback and ideas.
I especially like your *storybook*
ideas.
Ruth has mentioned this before and the more I think about it the more I like this idea.

Love you
Gepetta

Blue Sweater from Linda!

Love this sweater!

This is the brown sweater I have made felted light brown wool pants for and want to make boot, scrunchy socks and a flannel shirt for to put on Joseph or RJ. Probably will happen after Christmas. This can be posted on Etsy and jeanleedolls.com.
