bodice and sleeves
I had some blue twill in my stash and so i used it.
the top is not the style I had in mind but this is how it turned out.
I will have to send Hattie to our designer Ruth for better outfit designing work...
she will prolly go into the mail tomorrow or Monday.
this blue fabric ravels wildly and all I have done so far has to be hand basted first.
YUUUUUKKKKK

We Had Quilt Group today!!!
Our crazy quilt group met today to exchange our round robin blocks. Eight ladies are participating. Each month we design and create a 12 1/2" block based around a history written by a member in the group and with a specific color and fabric scheme. Click on the link at the top of this page entitles Quilts and Craftss and see the newest designed blocks. This is a block from Joyces quilt. The completed quilt is posted on the quilt page. Beautiful quilt Joyce!!!
This is a quilt we have pieced for the Ronald McDonald House. Each person made several 9 patch blocks and we actually made 2 quilts. This is our blue quilt... Now to tie it and give it away!
Donna created this BEE masterpiece for Marsha who is a member of a garden club and is doing some things for community with a BEE theme! Won't this project beeeeee darling!!!
Oh my goodness, you guys have been so creative while Ihave been out of commission. We are currently on the road between Pendleton and the Dalles. (I got a new aircard for my laptop so I can stay connected now.) Baby is doing some better, but will be pretty time consuming for the next few weeks. I will be going back down on Friday for a week, but plan on taking my knitting needles with me. Missed talking to you all. Love, Linda
All these beautiful projects make me want to beeeeeee happy!
Don't give up Linda. We will wait for you...... am so happy you are able to spend time with
Candy and Joseph as you are needed.

Pay it forward
Hello everybody!
I am participating in an event called 'Pay it Forward' I found out about it at Nouveaux Portmaneau's blog. This is how is works: If you are interested in playing, please leave me a comment in this post. (Or, you can leave a comment saying it sounds like fun but you are unable to play). For those of you who WANT to participate, please leave me a way of contacting you, your email address so I can get your home address to send you one of my handmade gifts. The first five people who say that they want to participate will receive a handmade gift from me. BUT, there is a catch! For those of you who participate, you will then post the 'Pay it Forward' information and button on your OWN blog and post a similar comment as this one, asking for five people who are interested in participating to leave you a comment, and then it is YOUR turn to send THOSE five people a gift. 'It is better to give than to receive' is how it all started out on someone's blog. It may take a month for the entire scenario to transpire, and take your time making your gifts that you send. Sound like fun???!!!
