Linda's Blue Sweater

                                                          OK, what do y'all think?

AAAAhhhhhheeeeemmmmmm........ you know of course this doll has on no undies!  LOL..... Do you need me to send ya some?    LOL
                                                      ABSOLUTELY  Beautiful SWEATER Sis.......

I love this! I have a blue hat from Mom that I think will go with this if the yarns work together. Amazing to me that you can do this. Love it! Ruth

I don't think anyone loves this more than me!   Absolutely BEAUTIFUL!   Wow Linda!  Love, Alyce

Me in the Morning!

I've seen this hair in the mirror!

Took a break from making clothes and decided to try making a doll. She's about 8 inches. Probably will only be one of a kind, but I may have to make them for the grand-daughters for church. We'll see.

She is really something Ruth. She pretty well sums up how I'm feeling right now. Even feel like my undies are hanging lower than my apron. Linda

Oh boy is she cute!   I love her hair and her clothes and her size!   You three are inspiring me to get down into my sewing room.   BTW - did I say how much I love her hair?
I think she would sell Ruth,  you should make a variety of different colors for people to choose from.   I love that her feet are striped, then you don't have to put shoes on her!  Love, Alyce

More dresses

Ho Down anyone? Here's your tule petticoat Peggy!

Love this sweater Linda sent. Works well with this dress, but I may make a straight skirt and try that with it also. I will get the yarn for the hat to mom.

Ruth, these are so cute. The sweater looks really good with this pink and brown dress. It will be really cute with brown shoes. I'm sure Peggy has some made up. I've been working on a blue sweater and should have it finished later tonight. (Had to take a break from figuring out patterns. My brain was on overload.) Anyway this yarn is self-striping so I think it will be cute. Not sure what you can come up with to go with it. It is kind of boy-type sweater I think. Next project, more shoes???? or shall I try tackling Han's hat again? Linda

Doll Case

Found this suitcase at Tuesday Morning on Wednesday afternoon. LOL. Just fits. What do you think?

I love this case. Yep we can be very impressive using this! Way to go Ruthie. Just needs a little tissue paper and a few business cards thrown in and this baby is ready to go. Very cute.

I love this case. It really takes the dolls to a whole new level. How much do they cost? Maybe down the road we could think about contacting whoever makes these and see if we can buy a bunch at wholesale prices and make it a whole package deal. Linda

Dress for Ethnic doll

i think this pair of sandals turned out way alot better!

Did you string the necklace? and what about the belt?so good
Found the beads and strung them on elastic thread. The belt is a stretchy headband with a button sewn on, then just wrapped around the doll and hooked over the button.

Tom said he thought this dress looked Native American.... Not sure, but probably on one of the dark skinned dolls. Had to try the shoes again. Should I make another Mu Mu dress like for the Elliea Doll out of the rest of the blue hawaiian print you sent Linda? Beautiful fabric and that doll turned out so cute

You are correct this will love very good on against a dark skin. can't wait until we all get there. we are gonna have so much fun playing dolls!.

I really like this too, but I do think it will look better on a dark skinned doll. Go ahead and use the blue hawaiian print if there is enough. If we need more, I'm sure I can get Amy to do a scouting trip for us at the shop I got this at in Honolulu. Linda

Spring Dress

Notice the brain squeezer! Mom's working on a bunch for us! This is just out of an elastic head band.
Bring on the brain squeezers! we need loads of these! Way to go Idaho

This outfit will probably need white shoes, mary janes or other, maybe a white purse or basket with flowers. So far haven't found a small enough basket. First pair of pantaloons! May work for Annabelle or Lolly or Genny or.......any of the dolls with long hair. Linda, a white sweater would be cute with this I think.

I think Anabelle will look very cute in this. Very....... ok, so I made 2 dolls yesterday and now I am behind again! ruth...... what is going on? It would appear that this is really getting alot easier for you. Doesn't look like you are struggling so hard with these creations. I approve! Very nice work. I do hope you are putting our name tags on each article. I would hate for your creations to all of a sudden show up on another website somewhere!
You make me very proud!!!!!!!!!

This is a beautiful dress and you are right. A white sweater will be perfect. I have finished 2 pairs of black Mary Jane's. Do you want them now or shall I wait and bring them?

Wonderful Quilt

Alyce made this beautiful quilt for her granddaughter. The girls drew the pictures and Alyce transfered them to fabric, and hand embroideried the picture. Using fabric she stripped the pictures to make a quilt block. Sewed them together and machine quilted the entire thing. Priceless and a treasure forever! Wonderful Alyce. Thanks for sharing!!

This is a wonderful idea. I tried to do something like this a few years ago but one of the red fabrics bled all over everything. Learned my lesson to use better quality fabric. Awesome job Alyce. Linda
